Support FAQ for Berble b-Tax iPhone App What is b-Tax? b-Tax is a handy native iPhone application for calculating sales tax . If you ever needed a quick way to work out how much an item costs with tax added or subtracted then this app is for you. For example, in the UK Sales Tax (Value Added Tax or VAT) is 15% on most items. A second rate of 5% is also in force for fuel and other items. Simply key in your amount and b-Tax will immediately show you what the value would be with tax or without and a single click changes rate bands too.
How much does b-Tax cost? b-Tax is currently available free, but will have a small cost from v1.2 on. How do I set my currency and number format? b-Tax automatically sets your country's currency and number formatting by using your device preferences - Settings > General > International > Region Format. How do I set my country? Just click on the flag at the bottom of the screen. Select your county's flag by touching it. What countries sales tax rates are supported? Currently b-Tax has rates for the UK (15% adding in V1.1), Ireland, France, Germany, Netherlands & India. Will you add sales tax rates for other countries? We are currently accumulating sales tax information for other countries and more will be added in future versions. What languages are supported Currently b-Tax is available in English and French.
