![]() Looks like the Asus Eee PC is going to get some competition, Everex have launched their take on the Ultra-Mobile PC at CES. The $399 Cloudbook CE1200V sports a similar custom linux operating system based on gOS Rocket and comes with a host of bundled applictions, Mozilla Firefox, gMail, Meebo, Skype, GIMP, Movie Player, RythemBox, OpenOffice and more. Weighing in at only 9 pounds , a stand out feature is a built in hard drive (30GB) which is much higher capacity than the flash based offerings on the Eee, the quoted 5 hour battery life is good too. The Cloudbook should be available from walmart from the 25th January. Hardware Specifications
