![]() Google have told the Financial Times that they get fifty times more searches through the iPhone than any other mobile handset. “We thought it was a mistake and made our engineers check the logs again” The flat rate data plans undoubtedly help in encouraging mobile use, lets hope this marks the beginning of the end for metered access. Google are in fact predicting that mobile searches will overtake those from home internet connections in the near future. “If the trend continues and other handset manufacturers follow Apple’s lead in making web access easy, the number of mobile searches will overtake fixed internet searches within the next several years” It certainly indicates that the lack of 3G speed doesn't seem to be hampering it's usage.
